Wealth & Poverty Review Criminal Squatter Steve Hickey Selling Possessions While Remaining in House He Does Not Own

View at X

Breaking

Accused conman and criminal squatter Steve Hickey is now selling his personal belongings including the table where he shot many of his social media videos for Instagram and TikTok. It appears the law is finally catching up.

Moving Trucks Spotted

Neighbors say moving trucks have been spotted at the Ravensdale house at the center of this controversy. A judge ruled it belongs to Katrina Freitag.

But this past December, King County Sheriff’s deputies failed to remove Hickey citing legal uncertainty.

Hickey Claims Zero Assets

In his latest bankruptcy filing, Hickey claims he has zero assets and no income, even though he owns thousands of dollars in camera equipment and collects social media advertising revenue. Here’s the legal judgement against Hickey.

Could Be Booted This Month

Freitag says sheriff’s deputies could boot Hickey this month unless he leaves on his own. That would be the wise thing to do. Even with the mounting evidence against him, Hickey has remained defiant and has always claimed he was telling the truth.

Resigned and Removed

Last year, Hickey also resigned from his role as Commissioner in Ravensdale’s Fire Protection District #47. He was being investigated for corruption.

He was also removed as a volunteer firefighter.

Multiple Accusations

As we dug into Hickey’s past, he’s also been accused of ripping off dozens of people in an elaborate construction hustle.

Squatters Emboldened by Backed Up System

People like Hickey have been emboldened by King County’s broken court system where eviction hearings are still backed up and judges tend to give squatters generous extensions to stay in other people’s properties.

Freitag Fights Back

But people like Freitag refused to give up and mobilized the community to fight back.

“I Will Honor the Court Process”

In the end, Hickey lied to all his social media followers, local Seattle media members like Brandi Kruse, and even duped his friends.
