Wealth & Poverty Review Squatter Steve Hickey Facing Eviction and Corruption Investigation

View at X

Not a Victim

This did not age well.

Earlier this year, social media influencer Steve Hickey tried to portray himself as a victim after Tyler Oliveira and I exposed his egregious squatting and construction hustles. Even though we brought receipts, Hickey denied the allegations and also tried to discredit us along the way.

This month, a King County judge determined the evidence shows he has no right to the Ravensdale house and must now vacate the property. In other words, Hickey is indeed engaged in criminal squatting.

Meanwhile, the accused conman is still a Ravensdale Fire Commissioner since it’s an elected position. But he was canned recently as a volunteer firefighter. Important distinction here.

As for KIRO Newsradio, the outlet has yet to officially respond with a statement since the judge’s ruling. But Hickey’s victims have complained and are prepared to protest the radio station if he remains an on-air contributor.

In conclusion, Hickey gaslit all his supporters and destroyed what was left of his reputation. He basically believes his own lies. This is sociopathic behavior. Hickey is clearly not well. Watch this Instagram post from May. Tell me what you think. Do you still believe him?

Hickey Declines to Comment

Defiant and arrogant until the end.

No Proof

Hickey tried to convince me that the victims were lying. I almost didn’t pursue this story. But when he couldn’t produce any documents showing ownership of the house, that’s when I realized I had to put aside any professional relationship with Hickey and just do my job.

Will He Do the Right Thing?

At this point, Steve can do the right thing and leave so Katrina Freitag can move in with her family. But knowing Steve, he’s probably going to force King County Sheriff’s deputies to do it the hard way. This time around, more media will be there to capture the moment.

Corruption Investigation

Hickey is also facing a corruption investigation over at Ravensdale Fire for alleged sketchy behavior. The findings should be dropping soon.
