Wealth & Poverty Review Homeowner Scared that Steve Hickey Won’t Leave Her Property Despite Court Order

View at X

Happening Now

Just got off the phone with Katrina Freitag, the Ravensdale homeowner who obliterated Steve Hickey in court and now has legal authority to boot this squatter from her property. She feels vindicated by this outcome but says Hickey is known as a conman for a reason.

She’s afraid he might try to find a legal loophole and lie about his circumstances to delay, delay, delay.

For now, she is in the process of notifying King County Sheriff’s Office and deputies could be physically removing him in the coming days. At this point, it is in Hickey’s best interest to leave on his own.

PART 1: Here is the summary judgement against Steve Hickey. He lied to all his supporters, his reputation is in ruins, and more importantly, the judge says the property belongs to Katrina Freitag.

PART 2: Basically, Hickey was in a rent to own situation and put in hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own money. But he defaulted on payments and lost out on his ability to buy the Ravensdale house outright from the former owner Lee Strom.

PART 3: After Hickey defaulted, Strom ended up selling the house to Freitag. But that’s when the nightmare begins. Hickey refuses to move out or pay rent, hires attorneys, and drags Strom and Freitag’s names through the mud.

Part 4: This ordeal also exposed Washington’s broken system. Hickey took advantage of the backed-up courts and knew he could get away with staying for free in Freitag’s house. All he had to do was hire attorneys, fight, and drag it out in court, hoping Freitag would surrender.

Part 5: At one point, Hickey said he would move out if Freitag paid him close to $100K, otherwise he would stay and make her life miserable. But Freitag called his bluff and decided to fight back. A judge finally ruled in her favor.

Part 6: In conclusion, Hickey finally met his match. He’s now facing severe financial consequences. Aside from being booted from the house, Frietag and Strom are going after him for back rent and legal fees. Hickey also lied to many people throughout this ordeal, even portraying himself as a victim. From fellow news reporters to his followers on social media, it’s fair to say his name is now mud in this community. I reached out to Hickey for comment on this outcome. So far no response.
